Footwear exports recover

Foreign sales of Brazilian footwear, in the first eight months of 2021, reached 75.2 million pairs, increasing by 33,4% in relation to the same eight months of the previous year. Regarding the value, the US $ 541.3 million represented an increase of 23,9%, according to data provided by SECEX.

Compared to 2019 figures, the number of exported pairs fell by 0,2% and the value showed a negative variation of 16,7%, reported from ABICALÇADOS.
