Between June 6th and 8th, a new Trade Mission took place in Bogotá, Colombia. The event featured the participation of 32 Brazilian footwear brands, thanks to the support of BRAZILIAN FOOTWEAR, a joint initiative by ABICALÇADOS and APEX-BRASIL.
The showroom welcomed buyers from Medellín, Cali, Bogotá, and Manizales, generating over 150 contacts. As a result, the exhibiting companies sold 733,000 pairs of footwear, estimated at a value of US$ 6.6 million. These figures encompass both immediate and future business, as reported by ABICALÇADOS.
Sales value had an increase of 388% compared to the version of the second half of 2022, according to Carla Giordani, Commercial Promotion Analyst at the footwear organization. "The continuity of the action in the market has been proving to be effective, since we have noticed an increase in the interest of buyers for Brazilian products", she added.
