Spanish footwear seeks greater internationalization
Rosana Perán, president of the Federation of Spanish Footwear Industries (FICE) and the European Footwear Confederation (CEC), stated that there has been significant investment by the sector in digitalization, technology, and sustainability in recent years.
In an interview with El Periódico de España, Perán detailed the ongoing efforts to attract talent to the industry through various projects. Another focus is internationalization: strengthening presence in France and Italy, achieving sales in the United States, and exploring new markets, including Asia, Australia, and Japan.
