"Doing new things, with old things, used or waste", is the basic concept of upcycling. From there, young designers like the Canadian Paolina Russo, create new footwear models originated in a restyling and reinterpretation of certain aesthetic codes, which gain attention for originality and propone as the newest for modern street style.
As the representative of the famous Central Saint Martins design school in London and with support of ADIDAS, Paolina Russo presented the new boots and mules in the last edition of London Fashion Week. They were made from the Superstar model of the German brand, which turned 50 years, where the traditional 3 straps are present, adding high heels, classic laces, silver zippers, original logos and insoles of the classic model.
