COVID 19. Webinars to think and discuss strategies for sector of footwear and leather goods

Organized by the EXPO RIVA SCHUH and GARDABAGS fairs, on July 22 it will be the first appointment of #PLAYfashion, under the title “THE COVID STORM: FROM DIFFICULTIES TO RELAUNCH”. It is a new fully digital initiative designed to strengthen the relationship between the fair and its community.

An unmissable overview for all companies and operators who work every day in the footwear, leather goods and accessories sector. The live talk promises to be an important opportunity to reflect and discuss the strategies adopted by the market to respond to the coronavirus health emergency.

Broadcast live and open to exhibitors, visitors, consortia, institutional bodies, partners, journalists and bloggers, the event includes the participation of some of the most influential international players in the fashion world.

Among them, it is expected that Joao Maia -General Manager of APICCAPS of Portugal-, provides a complete overview of the sector, comparing the consumption trend, future forecasts and the possible actions that will be taken to support the reactivation of the supply chain, transforming the crisis in opportunities. Also participating will be Leticia Sperb Masselli -General Manager of the ABICALÇADOS Brazilian Footwear Project of Brazil; Aqeel Ahmed Panaruna -President of CLE (Council of Leather Exports) of India and Li Yuzhong -President of CLIA (Chinese Leather Industry Association) representing trade associations.

The point of view of the exhibiting companies and buyers will be in charge of Elvio Silvagni -GOLDSTAR-VALLEVERDE President-; Claudio Alessi -BATA EUROPA President and Stephan Krug -SABU SCHUH MARKETING Gmbh President, invited to provide an analysis of the interaction between demand and offer in recent months.
