Fairs in Italy: in Stand-By

Due to the worsening of the pandemic in Europe, the announced dates are being reviewed by the organizers and government authorities.

Once again, the coronavirus puts the realization of the Italian sectoral fairs in check.

In inquiries made to the different promoting entities of Italian fairs, there is still no certainty about the holding of the next live events, mainly those that were planned for February 2021, in Milan.

These are LINEAPELLE of suppliers of materials and components, SIMAC TANNING TECH of technology for the leather and footwear industry, and MICAM, the international footwear exhibition.

The reason for the review of the schedule and its dates is due to the new outbreak of coronavirus in various European countries, where Italy particularly shows figures of great damage.

Such a health situation discourages the holding of events that involve crowding of people in order to reduce infections, beyond the existing protocols.

In this regard, organizers and government authorities of Italy are permanently evaluating the evolution of the crisis, in order to define as soon as possible, the realization of the fairs, whether live or virtual.
