SIMAC RETURNS! The world's largest technology fair will be a live event in Milan
Under the motto "Back to the Fair", on February 24th, 25th and 26th, 2021 a new edition of SIMAC-TANNING TECH will take place at Fiera Milano Rho in Italy, the most relevant event in the international arena dedicated to technology for the manufacturing sector, which includes footwear, leather goods and tannery.
On the occasion, the most important international companies and brands in the field will present their latest launches in machines, equipment and manufacturing systems, both for finished products and their components. With the majority of Italian exhibitors, the fair is once again the benchmark for the most modern technologies to be applied in these industries, incorporating digitization and automation processes while respecting environmental and social sustainability.
Simultaneously with the live event, a complementary digital platform will be launched that will speed up the activity, allowing the setting up of appointment and meeting agendas, information exchanges and real-time interaction between visitors and exhibitors.
According to Gabriella Marchioni Bocca, president of ASSOMAC, the Italian association of machine manufacturers and organizer of the fair, “the impact of the pandemic was strong, but it did not discourage us from continuing to work on the relaunch through an open and digital experience”.
“We believe in the proactive role that SIMAC-TANNING TECH plays in the promotion system of international value chains and their technologies for fashion manufacturing. In this regard, our fair has unique characteristics that cannot be replicated in any other way”.
