SAPICA Hybrid: the largest footwear offer in Mexico

In both formats - live event and digital - the fair of Leon, Guanajuato, shows major factories nationwide in the local and international market.

"We are the heart of an industry that beats and stands firm in adversity, an industry that renews itself to meet the challenges of a new reality". This is how the largest Mexican footwear and leather goods fair is presented, which again takes place in a hybrid format - live event and digital.

The event will be held between Tuesday 9, Wednesday 10 and Thursday 11 March 2021, in person at the Poliforum León de Guanajuato fairgrounds. This time, the organizers of the fair include the implementation of a protocol of health, safety and prevention, coupled with the support of state and municipal authorities. All participants must comply with all established security measures, in order to comply with the corresponding health requirements.

Featured factories and brands of footwear and leather goods around the country exhibit their products, which also has arranged a special space in which they can meet consumer trends, fashion, colors and materials.

National and international visitors

This edition of SAPICA has encouraged exhibitors and buyers to start a new period of business activity aimed at recovering, despite current market conditions imposed by the pandemic. While the consumption and production of footwear have been affected by the health crisis in industry compliance with protocols, activity was gradually re-established.

By traders, the need to standardize and update stocks, and SAPICA is the opportunity to stock shoes.

In this regard, the forecasts are receiving representatives of major commercial and retail outlets nationwide chains, accompanied by a number of foreign buyers interested in Mexican products.

Digital platform: effective complement to the live event

The previous version of hybrid SAPICA that was held in October last year, was considered successful by the organizers of the event, why the digital platform that complements the live event reissues.
