A 39.6% increase was registered in footwear sales abroad during the first four months of 2021, in relation to the same period of the previous year. The volume of exports was 8.3 million pairs. Business was carried out for US $ 154 million, this is 28.1% more than in the first four months of 2020.
The destinations that lead the ranking are the United States, which exceeds 80% of the total exported footwear, followed by Guatemala and El Salvador.
The value per pair stood at US $ 18.60 on average, compared to US $ 20.26 in 2020, reported from CICEG.
